Sensirion is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality environmental and flow sensors. The company, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Stäfa in Zurich, employs 800 people worldwide. By working together, we want to make a difference and use our technologies to lay the foundations for a smarter future. Millions of our sensors are used all over the world, including in medical technology, the automotive industry, industrial processes and in consumer goods.

Sensirion currently supervises 20 apprentices. We give our apprentices responsibility and we trust in their abilities. They are treated like permanent employees right from the start, are well integrated into their teams and are able to work on exciting projects. Cohesion among the apprentices and their well-being is a top priority at Sensirion. For this reason, we organize an annual apprentice excursion and apprentice camp and monthly get-togethers for our apprentices.

What inspires us

The physical and mental well-being of our staff is very important to us. For this reason, Sensirion offers a broad range of free indoor and outdoor sports (e.g. floorball, tennis and soccer) and free access to an in-house gym. We also offer free fruit and free water, apple juice and hot beverages.

Sensirion hosts special events for apprentices, including monthly apprentice exchange sessions followed by lunch, the Welcome Day where all new and existing apprentices get to know each other during a surprise program, the annual excursion and the camp.
