Interview with Patrice Brun, Consultant
Hi Patrice, what are you doing at Great Place to Work?
I'm a bit of a dabbler with everything from my past experiences. I canvass the French-speaking part of Switzerland to find the future Best Workplaces or those in the making and I'm at the same time project manager, consultant, trainer and I manage customer invoicing.
How did you come to Great Place to Work ?
By chance I actually applied for an internship in Luxembourg at Great Place to Work and I never left after my internship.
And does the name of the company live up to its promises ;-)
Yes indeed we are and we know it through our own survey but like any company we face challenges.
What defines an employer as a Great Place to Work for you?
Taking into account the individual as a whole, not being considered as a number.
A great workplace has a lot to do with corporate culture. What does corporate culture mean to you?
Corporate culture for me is a way of thinking about business that leads to having values that make people behave in accordance with them and that are also a reflection of one's own values or to which one adheres and that complement one's own values.
Why should organizations care about their business culture?
It helps to coordinate and unite employees around the life of the organization and its objectives.
What is your contribution to a better corporate culture?
I train managers, I share best practices and I try at my humble level to impact for the best, through the advice provided, the life of the employees of the companies we work with.
