Greenliff is a digital product design agency based in Zurich. Founded in 2004, we meanwhile employ around 30 people. With a passion for code, agile methods and modern tools, we develop digital products and services.

We are convinced that innovative solutions can only be developed when the user takes the centre stage. With our full-service approach, we consistently focus on the users' needs - starting with strategic consulting and moving through experience design to technical implementation and quality control. This is how we develop, among others, websites, mobile apps, IoT solutions and complete ecosystems.

We support companies on the way to their digital future and ensure their sustainable business success. Our customer base includes medium-sized and large companies from various industries.

The cooperation with our customers is characterized by trust and open communication. Their in-depth business knowledge coupled with our longtime experience in digital markets lays the foundation for a successful project.

Our team consists of numerous motivated and talented employees from different cultural and professional backgrounds. This makes working together particularly exciting and productive. There is a culture of mutual respect and flat hierarchies.

What inspires us

In our projects, we combine technology and creativity. In this way, we create unique points of view and perspectives on a topic. As a matter of principle, we solve challenges together, because better results are achieved with teamwork. Everyone gives their full effort and commitment. This creates a good cohesion throughout the company, which also extends beyond working hours.

Our summer and Christmas events are always a highlight.  During the year there are spontaneous activities; together to the Street Food Festival, spontaneous barbecues and swimming at and in the Limmat, and much more.

Employees are financially supported in their further education and internally fostered to apply their acquired knowledge.

We offer 5 weeks of vacation and flexible working hours. In the office, employees enjoy free coffee and fresh fruit.

Highlights from the measures taken

The Great Place to Work 2019 award showed it: although we work tirelessly for our customers, Greenliff has a great work-life balance and team spirit across all levels of the business, where there are no barriers between management and employees; everyone is allowed to contribute and different opinions are heard and valued.

At our monthly All-Hands meetings, employees are informed about all important company matters such as management, status, updates, plans and visions. In addition, employees have the opportunity to speak for example about a current (customer) project and thus learn to talk confidently in front of a larger group of listeners. At the same time, we use the "All-Hands meeting" to practice workshops and presentations we give at conferences (e.g. Digital Festival) and to gather feedback for improvement.
