How long does it take to get certified?
The time to certification is individual and depends on the scheduling and the size of the organisation. Depending on this, it takes between 5-6 weeks to complete the Trust Index™. The Culture Brief™ must be submitted on the last day of the Trust Index™ survey.
Accordingly, a project takes between 5-6 weeks, although the duration tends to be shorter for smaller companies.
What does the certification process look like?
On the specified dates, the standardised Trust Index™ questionnaire is sent to employees, who can answer it during two weeks.
The organisation must submit the Culture Brief™, which asks for general information and key figures about the company.
After the evaluation, the results are communicated. The evaluation also shows whether organisations have qualified for the certification.
At the same time, the certification communication measures are coordinated between the organisation and Great Place to Work.

Can a company's own, internally conducted employee survey be used for taking part in the Great Place to Work® Certification?
No, participation requires the Trust Index™ employee survey to be conducted via Great Place to Work®.
This is the only way we can guarantee compliance with the Fairness Rules & Quality Standards for all participating companies.
What happens if the minimum criteria are not met?
If the criteria for certification are not achieved, the organisation will not receive an award. The non-achievement will not be mentioned publicly.
There is no guarantee of certification, so there is no reimbursement of costs in case of non-achievement. In addition to project management and the analysis of the results, the costs also consist of the evaluations and recommendations of our consultants.
How much effort do I have to expect?
The effort for the HR department regarding the Trust Index™ employee survey is minimal, as we provide support both in internal communication and in the efficient implementation of the project.
The effort required to complete the Culture Brief™ takes a maximum of 2-3 hours.

No, the decision for participating in the certification is up to the client before the start of the project. Once the project has started, the decision cannot be changed (e.g. a client realizes he won't get certified and therefore doesn't want to participate).
Is the company's participation confidential?
Organisations that do not achieve certification are not communicated. We don't want to point the finger at organisations that didn't make it, but rather promote those organisations that are good or even the best at what they do for their employees.
