We introduce ourselves
InterContinental Genève, inaugurated on the 31st of January 1964, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. Ranked among the world's best 5-star hotels, it is part of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).
In the heart of the United Nations district, this iconic 18-storey hotel, listed as a historic building from the 1960s overlooks the Lake and the city of Geneva, offering a unique view on the Mont Blanc and the Jura mountains.
Ideally located halfway between the city center and Geneva International Airport, the hotel is close to international and multinational organisations, PALEXPO, Geneva’s main exhibition and conference centre and the Geneva International Conference Centre (CICG).
In the 2000s, a wind of renewal blew over InterContinental Genève following its complete renovation led by New York designer Tony Chi, who infused it with the quintessential zen atmosphere.
Today, InterContinental Genève comprises 333 rooms, the "Woods" restaurant, famous for its Sunday brunch, "Les Nations" bar, a cigar lounge, a Clarins Spa and "Le Poolside" swimming pool open in summer. More than 2000 m² of conference and banqueting space is divided into 16 rooms. In 2018 and 2019, it received the World Travel Awards for "best business hotel" and "best suite" for its Residence located on the 18th floor of the hotel.
