We introduce ourselves

The Vetropack Group is one of the leading European manufacturers of packaging glass. It has over 3000 employees and operates a total of eight glass factories in Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Ukraine and Italy. 

The glassworks, which are all ISO 9001 certified, have 18 melting tanks with a daily production capacity of over 4000 tonnes of packaging glass. For the production and distribution of packaging glass, Vetropack has its own companies and glass works in Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Ukraine and Italy. The group also includes the Swiss trading company Müller+Krempel AG and Vetroreal AG, which is active in real estate management.

The Swiss family business takes very social and appreciative care of its employees (everything is done with decency and respect) and produces a very sustainable, fascinating and meaningful product which is easy to identify with and be proud of. At Vetropack, "open doors" are part of the management culture that is lived out, i.e. employees can always seek a meeting with their superiors or make an appointment for a longer discussion. What inspires us

As part of the introduction programme, all new employees are given the opportunity to visit our production plant in St. Prex, Switzerland. Employees can take part in a detailed tour of the factory. The aim is to do this in the first few weeks, if possible, so that the employees identify with our highly interesting product as quickly as possible.

Our great workplace

Every new employee is given an induction programme so that they know what to expect in the first three months. The induction programme includes visits to various departments where culture, history, products, initiatives and challenges are being discussed. This feedback is also given in interviews with employees who have recently joined the company: "You simply feel welcome at Vetropack".
