What employees say

For me personally, Bisnode D&B Switzerland Ltd. is a "Great Place to Work" for many reasons. The most important four of these are work task, collegiality, appreciation and social commitment. I am involved in an international project and find my work tasks exciting, my goals challenging but achievable and I learn something new every day. I can not only work well with colleagues both in Switzerland and internationally, but we also have a lot of fun - even now without personal contact through channels like TEAMS. I receive recognition for my work from colleagues and my supervisor. In addition, I also regard the small gifts on certain holidays or the (pre-Corona) regular company events as an expression of appreciation for the commitment of the employees. Last but not least, there is also Bisnode's commitment to issues such as environmental protection and sustainability, to which every employee can contribute with ideas or own initiatives.

What defines us

Bisnode fulfils as a company in a future-oriented industry an important purpose in society and offers jobs where every employee plays an important role in his or her position. To enable our employees to fulfil their role in the best possible way, we attach great importance to the necessary freedom of action in personal challenges. Everyone should be able to develop, contribute their know-how and progress.

We are a company without large hierarchical levels and maintain an "open door" policy, communicating as directly and transparently as possible. As an SME, we are able to work on a relatively broad range of tasks, participate in exciting projects and take on responsibility. Of course, this requires a good training in advance, which we guarantee to new employees.

Embedded in an international group, we also look beyond the borders of Switzerland and offer not only exciting tasks but also cross-border career opportunities and activities.

Sustainable success is important to us - we are happy to communicate and celebrate this with our employees.

Bisnode wants to be a small but fine (i.e. attractive) employer and is constantly reviewing its benefits. These include attractive employment conditions such as flexible working hours at a 40-hour week, home office opportunities and at least 5 weeks of holiday. After 3 or 5 and 7 years of service, there are additional days of leave.

What inspires us

In addition to a modern pension fund, we offer our employees private accident insurance and daily sickness benefit insurance - Bisnode covers 100% of the costs of both insurance policies. We also have free parking spaces or take over the half-fare card. Discounted fitness subscriptions, free tickets for the local open-air and indoor swimming pool or the Zurich Zoo round off the offer.

Our internal training programme includes language courses over lunchtime, lectures at lunch talks, webinars on various topics or free time for external courses. Special achievements and the "famous extra-mile" are rewarded within our "Be Great@Bisnode Programme".

Team events, seasonal festivals, anniversary celebrations, apprentice excursions as well as gifts for birthdays and other occasions help to ensure that fun is not missed out and that the team spirit is cultivated.

Highlights from the measures taken

It is important to us that Bisnode employees get to know the company, the potential environment and their colleagues during the application process. For this purpose, we organise e.g. trial appointments or involve employees in the second interviews. As a consequence, we attach great importance to positive onboarding and a good familiarisation with a work colleague as "buddy".

In general, transparent communication is very important for us; our employees should have access to both positive and negative information. This also includes maintaining an "open door" culture and a flat hierarchy, questions should be answered in an uncomplicated and direct manner.

With our "Great@Bisnode" Programme, we want to encourage and reward good ideas, innovation and outstanding performance - employees nominate employees for each quarter and the best nominations are rewarded during the New Year's celebration. Other occasions also want to be celebrated and offer employees the opportunity to get to know each other outside of work.

Executive management comment

We are pleased that our employees rate Bisnode as a "Great Place to Work" and it is our ambition that this will continue in the future.

Satisfied employees ensure that our customers are also satisfied. These two principles are anchored in our values, we cultivate respectful interaction, an open culture with equality in mind and transparent, honest communication. The greatest successes are achieved when our employees have confidence and freedom in the way they carry out their tasks - this is reflected in our regular employee surveys, but also in the results, which have increased year after year. Innovative ideas from our employees also contribute to this.

Of course, we are also aware that the basis must be right with very good social benefits, home office facilities and a good work-life balance.
